Received a couple of Amen Andrews 12-inches last week. Can’t stop playing them.

The BPM’s are also listed on the records. Mostly around 175 BPM (+/- 6) but also (rarely) some slower and faster things. Highly Recommended for the Breakbeat and Jungle fans out there.

It sounds like we are back in the beginning of the 1990’s with hardcore breakbeats, jungle etc. Samples like: “Mash Up This Place”, “Watch Your Bass-Bins” and many rave sounds such as hovers and Altern 8-like stabs.

One of Emzetter’s ‘meer doorbeukende’ trax ‘Jah Sumono’ (volgens mij zit er wel een amen in) will be played in this show which will be live broadcasted from 20.00-22.00 (CET) at Airpeace FM and later downloadebale at the Ruff Rhythmz…

Check out the mix from DJ Aardvarck on 3voor12 and try to not get annoyed by that person shouting in between… We know that this is acid Also the use of filters by Aardvarck is a bit of a waste of the music. Anyways, I sympathise with the initiative, but this doesn’t sound like I want to go there.
