You probably never saw a nice looking Jabber client on the Windows Platform.

Check out the RhymBox. It looks great and works like a charm. It supports SSL (yeah!) and when your Jabberserver has some transports installed you can very easily use MSN, ICQ or whatever legacy system you have been using.

And, if you do not have a Jabber server, you can use RhymBox’s own Jabber server which has support for some other protocols built in already. Pretty friendly of them.

So - we have a choice now at least between booting the iBook and running Nitro or going for the Windows XP machine.

UPDATE: The friendly Belgium guys developing Rhymbox have been cheated by some business assholes from the US. So if you wanna check their client out you should now point your browser to Pandion!

If you ever wanted to start a weblog (like this one) I can highly recommend the TypePad service. These people made MovableType, what I am using now, and are now offering an advanced version of that with more functionality and the same ease-of-use.

So, there you go, this was my advertisement for them, because I love their free software so much.

All 2300 paintings owned by the UK’s National Gallery have now been digitised in exquisite detail, as part of a print-on-demand reproduction service. The image files will be sent to other printers via the internet, giving pirates the chance to pounce. But the images have no digital copy protection at all.

B-Rave Records has released some old-fashioned great Rave stuff the past few months. Today I stumbled on some mixes on their website which are great Oldschool Mixes. I put the three of them in one file for hours of oldschool madness.

It seems to me that it is really going quite well with the Swiss scene.
